What is Rec Soccer? Our rec soccer program is for ages 4 to 13 who are interested in playing soccer. We accept all skill levels and experience is not necessary.
When does the season start and end? Registration for rec soccer includes both Fall and Spring sessions. Fall session will begins in August and runs through the end of October. Spring session starts in April and runs until mid June. There is no additional cost for spring session and your child will be on the same team as the fall.
When are games and practices? All games will be played during the weeknights and weekends. Practices are decided by the volunteer coach based on their availability.
How do I register? If you do not have an account with MSC, then you’ll need to open one on our website. Once you have and account and add your child as a participant, you will be able to see the available programs based on his or her birthdate. Choose the program you are interested in and follow the program through to payment. You will receive a confirmation email when registration is complete.
What if I want to request a specific coach or teammate? During registration there is a section for “special requests” to make your request. We will do our best to honor requests and to make sure teams are balanced. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be granted.
When will I hear about team placement? Team announcements will be received by email. Team schedules will be posted on our website.
How can I volunteer to be a coach or an assistant coach? During registration there is a page for volunteering. Choose which volunteer positions you are interested in and you will be contacted. Volunteer coaches are vital to making our program a success. Please consider volunteering or finding out more about volunteer opportunities within our club.
Does my child get a uniform? All players will receive a jersey, shorts, and socks. You will need to supply shin guards, water bottle, and soccer ball. Soccer cleats are required.
What is your refund policy? Our refund policy can be found on our website. Click on the tab “About MSC” and then “Program Fees”.
My child cannot play soccer in the Fall. Can he/she play in the spring? Yes, we open registration again for spring season after the Fall season is completed.
